Is SharkMate allowed by online poker rooms?

Currently no poker room has restricted the use of SharkMate. This is because we mine our data through our own facility and maintain our own database.

How should I pick a table to play at?

Actually, you don't have to do anything to be presented with the greatest tables. The default settings of SharkMate are set to locate tables that include mainly losers and most unskilled players (i.e. Fish). However, you may add your own definitions of what kind of players and tables you wish to play. You are welcomed to change the existing parameters and/or add table types of your own. We will locate these tables and present them to you in real time as well as all the vital statistics of the players around these tables. To learn how to set/change table locating definitions please read the relevant part in the SharkMate Tutorial.

Can I try out SharkMate for free before I pay for it?

Sure you can! We recommend you start by downloading the software and using it for up to 5 days completely free of charge. We are confident that once you see what it can do for you, you will never want to let it go.

How is SharkMate database maintained?

We have a "tracking server farm" which is essentially a large number of computers dedicated to collecting and analyzing hand history files 24 hours a day 365 days a year. These files are processed and update our database every 5 minutes.

How is SharkMate different from other poker tools?

Other poker tools are primarily aimed at tracking your own play. You have to turn them on when you start playing and they collect data for your session that you can analyze. Some can give you info on your opponents based on how they played while you were playing against them. However, the number of hands tracked will usually not be enough for accurate statistics. Some tools provide you with table odds (i.e. odds calculators) that may help you calculate your odds. However these cannot tell you anything about your opponents, how they play or what cards they are holding. Using these tools you still need to manually find tables to sit on by yourself, not knowing who are the players around the table, are they pros? are they tough? or maybe the table is full of suckers. SharkMate uses an entirely new concept. We will be providing you with real time advice about tables you should join and present you with all you need to know about your opponents. You can actually set SharkMate to locate for you tables according to your own preference. We can do this because we have an intricate infrastructure of computers that monitors most of the online poker tables at any given moment 24 hours a day. Our database includes most of the players and tables you will encounter. By using SharkMate you get to enjoy the ultimate power of information presented by the most powerful poker tool ever.

How do I purchase SharkMate?

You can buy SharkMate and start using it within minutes. We will first ask you to enter some personal details (click here if you wish to review our privacy policy). You can than pay for your subscription by either Credit card or Paypal or Neteller. We strongly recommend using PayPal since it's easy to use and 100% secure. After completing your purchase, it can take anywhere from a few seconds to 30 minutes for your account to become active. You will know the registration has been completed when you receive a confirmation email with instructions to download the client software (if you haven't done it by now) and basic instructions on how to use the software. Please do not email us unless 30 minutes have passed and your account is still not active.

Can I use SharkMate on more than one computer?

Yes. You can use your username/password to login from any computer at any location.

What does it mean if my payment is pending?

If your paypal funding source is an echeck, it will take 3-4 business days for the payment to clear. Your account will be inactive during this pending period. We highly recommend you log into your paypal account and change your funding source to an instant type.

How does the free trial work?

Click the "FREE TRIAL" button. This will begin the registration process. The Free Trial gives you 5 days free, and than you will be billed for your 1st month's payment. If you do not want to continue using SharkMate, please use the following link to discontinue your subscription:

We only allow one free trial per person. If you have already done a free trial and cancelled, but later decide you want to try SharkMate again, you can purchase SharkMate, but you cannot have another free trial.

Can other players use SharkMate to read my statistics?
